WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

This rendition the power of a rock concert with a classic silent film and the live drama of musical theater, where Quasimodo's love for the gypsy Esmeralda explodes into full light, color and sound in this unique live performance that features classic film on three screens, eight singers and a four-piece band.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame starring Lon Chaney, a silent film released in 1923, is one of the first film adaptations of Victor Hugo's novel. For the filming Chaney wore a hump and harness weighing 60 pounds, twisting his torso to feel the pain of Quasimodo and delivering a performance that earned him worldwide fame.
