The Singing Turtle is inspired by the folklore of old Japan. A young boy, Taro, must buy medicine for his ailing mother, but his mean uncle steals his money. After many unsuccessful attempts to make money, Taro is aided by a most unusual turtle. This program also includes "The Village Lion Dance" and "The Dance of The Happy Dragon."
