SpeakEasy Stage Company and Boston Theatre Works in association with
Broadway in Boston present Take Me Out by Richard Greenberg. This new play chronicles what happens when a beloved baseball star announces at an ordinary press briefing that he is gay. More than a mere coming-out story, Take Me Out is an "enchanting and enchanted take on baseball." (The New York Times) that also touches on themes of friendship, race, and bigotry.
