WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Get ready to dance! With music by such outstanding composers as Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer, Benny Goodman, Count Basie and Jerome Kern, audiences will have a hard time staying in their seats during Swing!. This exhilarating musical celebrates the diversity of music with numbers that reflect everything from Jive to Latin Swing, to Lindy Hop to Hip-Hop Swing. Following the success of Cats in NSMT's 2003 season, Director/Choreographer Richard Stafford will return to bring to life such songs as "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)," "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," and "In The Mood."
The Tuesday, Sept. 28 performance is at 7pm.
