In Stuff Happens, British playwright David Hare presents a complex and disturbing narrative of the political ploys and power plays that led to the war in Iraq. All of the main players are here -- George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, and others. Actual public statements from these leaders are interwoven with other voices, both factual and fictional, to create a chilling and often absurd account of a historical event that we are still living through.
