North Shore Music Theater presents Sigmund Romberg's classic tale of forbidden romance: a handsome prince longing to wed a commoner. One of the leading composers of American operettas in the 1920s, Romberg's The Student Prince is his most endearing and enduring work. Since its debut on Broadway, where it broke all previous records, it has been performed throughout the world and has been made into four different movies. With a rousing score that features love songs, waltzes, moonlight serenades and drinking songs, this show is sure to delight.
