Love, guilt, matchmaking, unsolicited advice, and endless offers of food?if this sounds like your family, you'll love Over the River and Through the Woods. Joe DiPietro's comedy is about a young man's career decision and its effects on his Italian-American family. DiPietro is also the author and lyricist of the hit musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. Paula Ramsdell directs this Boston premiere for the Lyric Stage Company.
