WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Our Lady of 121st Street is a smash Off-Broadway comedy that tells the story of a group of friends who gather for the wake of their beloved teacher Sister Rose. What they find when they arrive is that the dead nun's body has vanished, as has one of the mourner's pants; and no one is exactly who they thought they would turn out to be.
SpeakEasy Stage Co. presents this play by Stephen Adly Guirgis, directed by Paul Melone.
