Oklahoma!, Rodgers & Hammerstein's first collaboration, became an instant classic and garnered the New York Drama League distinction of "Best Musical of the Century" in 1993. Set in the territory of Oklahoma at the turn of the century, against the background of a rivalry between cattlemen and farmers, Oklahoma! is the story of a farm girl, Laurey, and the two men competing for her affection - the cowboy Curly and Jud, the brooding farmhand. Audiences will leave the theatre humming such classic musical favorites as "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'," "People Will Say We're In Love," "The Surrey With the Fringe On Top," and the legendary title song. With direction by Alan Rust and choreography by Ralph Perkins.
