New Repertory Theatre holds its annual Gala Fundraiser. Broadway, television, film and recording star Rachel York performs as the gala's special guest. York, who earned Drama Desk and Drama League nominations for her portrayal of Ruth Sutton in the Lincoln Center Theater's production of Dessa Rose, the Ahrens and Flaherty musical which closes the 2007-2008 New Rep season, performs selections of songs from her critically-acclaimed cabaret For the Love of It. All proceeds go to support New Rep's educational and artistic programming.
