Problems arise when Georges son Jean-Michel announces that he is engaged to Anne Dindon, the daughter of a well-known homophobic politician. Jean-Michel wants to hide his fathers partner Albin, a drag headliner at the nightclub La Cage Aux Folles, from Anne's parents. Albin is hurt and insists on making and appearance. Can the Dindon's accept Albin for who he is?
