Featuring music and lyrics by Cole Porter and a book by Sam and Bella Spewack, this musical is a Broadway legend that's as witty and fresh today as it ever was. In fact, the recent hit revival wowed the critics and took home five Tony® Awards in 2000. This is Cole Porter at his best spicy, sassy, sexy send-up that's based on Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew. The action unfolds as a play-within-a-play, in which the onstage performances of the four main characters are hilariously complicated by events in their offstage lives.
