WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Winner of the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, David Mamet's scalding dramatic comedy revolves around the world of small-time, cutthroat real estate salesmen trying to grind out a living by pushing plots of land on reluctant buyers in a never-ending scramble for their fair share of the American dream. Mamet's writing personifies the harsh life of a cast of characters who cajole, connive, manipulate, and barter for a piece of the action, in the hopes of selling undesirable real estate to unwilling prospective buyers. In the contest-driven atmosphere of Glengarry Glen Ross, closing a sale can mean the difference between winning a brand new Cadillac or being unsympathetically fired. Produced by Counter-Productions Theatre Company and Directed by KCACTF award-winner Devon Scalisi.
