WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Two-time Tony Award winning actress Frances Sternhagen takes the stage in a special, one-night only benefit performance for the Salem Theatre Company on May 23 at 5pm, opposite STC artistic director John Fogle. The duo will present a reading of Romulus Linney's powerful play Tennessee. Ms. Sternhagen is most familiar to audiences as Bunny McDougal on HBO's Sex and the City, Willa Mae Johnson on The Closer, and Cliff Claven's mother on Cheers. She most recently appeared on the big screen as Irma Rombauer in Julie & Julia. Sponsored by Beverly Cooperative Bank.
