WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
To open their 25th Season, the Playwrights' Theatre at Boston University presents First Blush, a serio-comedy by Amy Adler (2006 graduate of Boston University's Master of Arts Playwriting program). Directed by Eve Muson, First Blush explores the relationships of four Twenty-Somethings as they tread the fine line between love and sex. A drastic change in appearance turns two friends into rivals as Emma and Gwen's paths continuously cross through love, marriage, and the disillusionment of adulthood. Examining life through the lens of young urban Americans, Adler asks "How can we be good, even when no one is looking?"
