Parents - if you've got an emerging Alix Olsen or John Leguizamo on your hands, send 'em on over to award-winning spoken word performance artist Pandora Scooter's SPIT LAB (that's SPoken-word In p-TOWN), where they'll shape their words and figure out how to put the "p" in SPIT - as in "I'm gonna spit out a few pieces for y'all this evening." Teaches kids how to perform either an original or published poem with power and passion. Then, join them Friday night, August 5 for a KID'S OPEN-MIC where participants will have a chance to share their work! All experience levels and kids of all backgrounds/orientations welcome.
