WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Redolent of the delicious tastes, sounds and smells of Jewish cooking, ESN: Songs from the Kitchen is literally a songfeast in Yiddish, English and Yinglish - a full menu of food and drink in poetry, music and cooking - all right on stage. Yiddish diva Adrienne Cooper teams with trumpeter Frank London and vocalist Lorin Sklamberg (both of the Klezmatics) in a concert that touches all the bases - broad comedy, warm memory and our collective tradition and history - surrounding Jewish food.
Appropriate for audiences 12 and up.
