WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The self-appointed queen of Broadway comes to Boston. Dame Edna: The Royal Tour received a special 2000 Tony Award for Best Live Theatrical Event. Event, indeed. Part musical, part stand-up comedy act, this one-man (or is that one-woman?) show features Australian national treasure Barry Humphries as the one and only Dame Edna Everage. The middle-aged megastar Dame Edna discusses her San Francisco-based son Kenny, the Windsors, Kenneth Starr, baby-sitters, and her most important creation, The 2000 Prostate Olympics.
