Marc Maron is a standup comic, actor, and writer who has appeared in countless clubs, in film, and off-Broadway and is the author of The Jerusalem Syndrome: My Life as a Reluctant Messiah (Broadway Books, 2001), based on his one-man show; and described by the publisher as "a spiritual memoir of your average hyperintelligent, ultraneurotic, superhip Jewish standup comedian and seeker."
