The Salem Theatre Company presents its Haunted Happenings production, Chilling Tales: eerie legends of the supernatural at sea. A crew of professional actors from Boston and beyond will be onboard Friendship of Salem, Salem's three-masted tall ship docked at the National Maritime Historic Site's Derby Wharf on Derby Street, throughout the month. The actors will be telling classic ghost stories of the sea, adapted for performance by Erik Rodenhiser, produced by Rob Gray, and directed by Steve Stuart. The cast includes Amy Aldrich, Laura Faith, Gene Fleming, Amanda Good, Art Hennessey, Frank McDonald, Brielle Montgomery, Jason Reulet, and Keith Remon. The stories are adapted from works by Edgar Allen Poe, Herman Melville, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Bram Stoker, and others.
