Carmen and Don José crash into each other with a passion that's as much about will as it is about desire. At its premiere, Bizet's opera shocked and thrilled audiences. The thrill's still there in this new, highly theatrical BLO production directed by Nicholas Muni and conducted by Keith Lockhart.
