The award-winning Boston Theater Marathon is a ten-hour marathon of new 50 ten-minute plays by local authors, each one produced by a different New England theatre company, all performed in one place in one amazing day. Purchase of a pass lets you come and go all day, but does not guarantee a seat to every show. All pass holders run the Theatre Marathon, trying to see as many shows as possible during the day. The minute you leave your seat, it is fair game! The theater opens to new seating every hour. The times for each 10 minute play are posted, so if there is a particular play that you don't want to miss, it is recommend that you appear at the theater an hour prior.
