WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Two woefully unprepared parents, John and Helen bring home their newborn that they will eventually and misguidedly name, Daisy. A warped, Mary Poppins-esque Nanny and young mother, Cynthia also leave long-term, damaging impressions on the small child. As an adolescent, Daisy searches for an identity and name while he wastes an inordinate amount of time in college and in the beds of strangers. As an adult, he becomes determined to not perpetuate the mistakes of his parents, when he finds himself with a new bride and child of his own.
