Anything Goes comes to the Cape Playhouse for the very first time! With songs like, "I Get a Kick Out of You", "You're the Top", "All Through the Night", "Blow Gabriel Blow", and "Anything Goes", Cole Porter set the American musical singing. It's hijinks on the high seas as former evangelist Reno Sweeney, American heiress Hope Harcourt, aristocrat Sir Evelyn Oakleigh, and romantic stowaway Billy Crocker tangle with Moonface Martin, aka Public Enemy #13, all on a luxury liner destined for England. In the process there are handsome singing sailors, tap-dancing long legged show girls, love, romance, the moonlit night, the stars, and oh yes...tap-dancing long legged show girls! Heaven knows...Anything Goes! The musical features music and lyrics by Cole Porter, and a book by Guy Bolton, P.G. Wodehouse, Lindsay, Crouse and Weidman.
