The Cape Playhouse presents Ambasador Satch: The Life and Music of Louis Armstrong by James Mirrione and Andre De Shields. From backwater jazz clubs to Hollywood soundstages, Louis Armstrong's gravelly voice and trumpet artistry helped send songs like "Mack the Knife," "What a Wonderful World," "Baby, It's Cold Outside" and "Hello Dolly" to the top of the charts. This musical valentine to the imcomparable Satchmo stars Andre De Shields. Directed by Laurence Maslon.
