You'll be inspired by the story of a young African-American woman blessed with an angelic voice and an amazing ability to heal who loses faith - and begins a courageous journey of renewal and rediscovery. You'll be moved by the gospel, jazz and ragtime rhythms. Based on the novel Marked By Fire, by Joyce Carol Thomas, Abyssinia was co-written by composer Ted Kociolek and lyricist James Racheff.
