Full casting has been announced for upcoming New York readings of Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews' Witness Uganda. Readings are set to take place October 23 and 24. Tony winner Diane Paulus will direct.

The readings, which are produced by Kevin McCollum and Ashley Melone, will feature much of the cast from Witness Uganda's original A.R.T. production. New cast members include Broadway veterans Julius Thomas III (Motown The Musical) and Adam Kantor (Rent). In addition, Amber Iman has been added to the ensemble.

Original cast members participating in the reading are Adeola Role, Michael Luwoye, Kristolyn Lloyd, Nicolette Robinson, Jamar Williams, Tyrone Davis, Aisha Jackson, LaTrisa Harper, Roderick Covington, Kevin Curtis, and Jamard Richardson.

Witness Uganda follows a young New York City man named Griffin who volunteers for a project in Uganda. Inspired by a true story, the new musical addresses the challenges confronted by American aid workers around the world.

Directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus, the musical had its world premiere at Boston's American Repertory Theater in early 2014 and has won the 2014 Richard Rodgers Production Award for musical theater.
