Fiddlehead Theatre Company has announced the lineup of productions set for its 21st season in Boston.

The mainstage season at the Strand Theatre will feature four classic musicals, beginning with West Side Story. The production will offer a total of six performances over two weekends from October 16-25, featuring Jerome Robbins' original direction and choreography.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid will follow with nine performances from November 27-December 6. Based on the 1989 animated film and the original Hans Christian Anderson story, the production features a score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Glenn Slater, and a book by Doug Wright.

Fiddlehead will then present Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning Rent in honor of the rock musical's 20th anniversary. There will be nine performances over three weekends, running from February 5-21, 2016.

Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's Show Boat will close out the season with six performances over two weekends from April 22-May 1, 2016. Based on the Edna Ferber novel, the show features a number of classic songs including "Ol’Man River," and "Bill."
