Boston Children's Theatre has announced the lineup of productions for its 2014-15 season.

The Velveteen Rabbit will open the season with its sixth production at BCT. Performances will run from December 6-21 at the Benjamin Franklin Institute.

Stuart Little The Musical, based on the novel by E.B. White, will follow, with performances running from January 31-February 8, 2015, at The Cambridge YMCA.

Next will be a return engagement of Pinkalicious The Musical, back at BCT by popular demand. Performances are scheduled to run from February 13-February 22 at The Cambridge YMCA.

The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley will be next, running from March 7-March 15 at The Roberts Theatre, Calderwood Pavilion. Based on the children's book by Jeff Brown, the musical rendering features a book by Timothy Allen McDonald, who penned the stage adaptations of Willy Wonka and James and the Giant Peach.

Rounding out the season will be The Diary of Anne Frank, running from April 25-May 2 at the Wimberly Theatre, Calderwood Pavilion. "BCT is committed to telling truthful stories through the eyes of young people," said BCT Artistic Director Burgess Clark. "The Diary of Anne Frank tells one of the most important stories in our history from the perspective of a young girl who is living in extremely dark times. Her spirit is an inspiration for all ages and we are honored to bring this powerful play to our audiences."
