The Huntington Theatre Company has announced casting for its presentation of the Tony and Olivier Award-winning hit comedy God of Carnage, by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton. Daniel Goldstein will direct the production, which will play the BU Theatre, January 6 – February 5.

When Annette and Alan Raleigh’s son hits Michael and Veronica Novak’s with a stick in a nasty schoolyard tangle, the two couples meet in to discuss the problem. But all attempts at civilized discussion quickly devolve into childlike behavior in this fast, furious, and very funny comedy of bad manners.

The cast will include Brooks Ashmanskas (Alan Raleigh), Stephen Bogardus (Michael Novak), Johanna Day (Veronica Novak), and Christy Pusz (Annette Raleigh).

The production will feature scenic design by Dane Laffrey (, costume design by Charles Schoonmaker, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, and sound design by Brett R. Jarvis.
