Diane Paulus and Stephen Schwartz to Discuss American Musical Theater on November 30

Tony Award nominees Diane Paulus and Stephen Schwartz will hold a free discussion about the American musical theater, its trends in the coming decade, and its future on Tuesday, November 30 at 6pm at Oberon in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Paulus is artistic director of Cambridge’s American Repertory Theatre and Schwartz is one of the producers of its upcoming musical The Blue Flower.

In addition, Paulus is known as the director of the Tony Award-winning revival of Hair as well as such other works as The Donkey Show and Johnny Baseball.


Schwartz’s many shows include Wicked, Godspell, The Magic Show, Rags, Children of Eden, Pippin and The Baker’s Wife. He has won three Academy Awards and four Grammy Awards, among other honors.
