Underground Railway Theater has announced casting for Naomi Wallace’s The Fever Chart: Three Visions of the Middle East, to run November 18 – December 19 at Central Square Theater. Elena Araoz will direct the production.

The piece is a trio of dream plays that have been inspired by real events. In one, an Israeli soldier encounters a mysterious Palestinian woman in the Rafah Zoo. Another centers on a Palestinian father who reveals to a young Israeli woman their shared history. In the third, a bookish Iraqi bird collector tells of his conscription into Saddam’s army.

The company will feature Ken Baltin (Mourid/Sholmo), Najla Said (Tanya), Ibrahim Miari (Ali), Daniel Shaked (Yuval), Harry Hobbs (Sami), and Maria Silverman (Um Hisham).

The creative will include Susan Zeeman Rogers (scenic design), Charles Schoonmaker (costume design), Justin Townsend (lighting design), and Nathan Leigh (sound design and original music).
