Vital Theater Company Announces Casting ...

Melia Bensussen, Paul Daigneault, Shawn LaCount to Direct Annie Baker's Shirley, VT Plays in Boston

Three Boston theater companies -- Huntington Theatre Company, SpeakEasy Stage Company and Company One -- have announced the dates when it will be possible to see all three of Annie Baker's plays set in the fictional town of Shirley, VT in one day. The special Marathon performances will be offered on Saturdays, October 23, 30, November 6, and 13, and Sundays, November 7 and 13.

In addition, the companies have announced the artists who will be directing each piece. Melia Bensussen will stage Huntington's Circle Mirror Transformation (October 15 - November 14), Paul Daigneault will direct SpeakEasy's Body Awareness (October 22 - November 20), and Shawn LaCount will helm Company One's The Aliens (October 22-November 20).
