Tina Packer and Nigel Gore will star as Martha and George in Publick Theatre Boston's production of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?, to play the Plaza Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts, October 1-24. Diego Arciniegas will direct.

In the play, aging history professor George and his razor-tongued wife Martha invite a young new professor and his mousey wife for late-night cocktails and parlor conversation. Pleasantries dissolve as the liquor flows, and the party devolves into an escalating war of words between George and Martha.

The cast will also include Kevin Cain as Nick and Angie Jepson as Honey. The creative team will feature Dahlia Al-Habieli (sets), Jeff Adelberg (lights), Susanne Nitter (costumes) and John Doerschuk (sound).
