Julia Budde, Nate Guevin, Kevin Paquette Set for Boston Teen Acting Troupe’s Dog Sees God

The Boston Teen Acting Troupe is set to present Bert V. Royals’ Dog Sees God, August 10-12 at the Cambridge YMCA Theatre. Jack Serio and Catherine Spino will direct.

Dog Sees God is an unauthorized parody of the popular comic Peanuts, following the strip’s beloved characters into adolescence, where their neuroses have developed into violence, sexual confusion, drugs, and more.

The teenage cast will feature Kevin Paquette (CB), Julia Budde (CB’s Sister), Nate Guevin (Van), METG-Award winner Philip Da Costa (Matt), Brendan Caulfield (Beethoven), Elizabeth Stanfield (Tricia), Amelia McLaughlin (Marcy), and Julia Clark (Van’s Sister).

The design team will include Harry Meltzer (lighting design), Summar Elguindy (set design), and Jay Ricco (sound design).

This production of Dog Sees God will be raising money for The Trevor Project, a national organization that operates the only 24/7 crisis line for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.
