Stephen Mark Lukas, Ellen Peterson, Eliza Xenakis, et al. Set for Reagle Music Theatre’s Oklahoma!

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston has announced principal casting for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, to run July 8-17. Holly-Anne Ruggiero will direct the production, which will feature Gemze de Lappe ‘s recreation of Agnes de Mille’s original choreography and have music direction by Daniel Rodriguez.

Set in a Western Indian Territory just after the turn of the 20th century, the show follows the on-again-off-again romance of headstrong lovers Curly and Laurey and features such songs as “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning,” “I Cain’t Say No,” and “People Will Say We’re in Love.”

The company will feature Stephen Mark Lukas (Curly), Eliza Xenakis (Laurey), Ellen Peterson (Aunt Eller), Steve Geary (Wil Parker), Maggie McNeil (Ado Annie), Douglas Jbara (Jud Fry), Todd Yard (Ali Hakim), and Brad Walters (Andrew Carnes), along with New York Theater Ballet dancers Joshua Nieto and Rie Ogura as Dream Curly and Dream Laurey.
