Kathryn Lynch, Obehi Janice, Christine Power, et al. Set for Dawn M. Simmons’Candyland

New Exhibition Room has announced complete casting for Dawn M. Simmons’ Candyland, to run July 29 – August 14 at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre. A. Nora Long will direct the production.

The play focuses on a woman who’s searching for work and identity in a world ravaged by an economic holocaust and filled with dragons and zombies, as well as other hazards. The company will feature Obehi Janice (Kiki), Christine Power (Radio), Kathryn Lynch (Lazarus), Holly Erin McCarthy (Roxy), Bryan Daley (Cheeks), and Adam Kassim (Dustin Diamond).

The creative team will include Christina Watka (scenic design), Bailey Costa (lighting design) Darren Evans (sound design), and Lisa Polito (costume design).
