Stephen R. Buntrock, Erin Dilly, Randy Graff, Mary Stout Set for Cape Playhouse Season

Cape Playhouse has announced productions and initial casting for its 2012 season, according to the Cape Cod Times.

The season will begin with the Sherlock Holmes mystery, The Hound of the Baskervilles (June 11-23). Next will be Douglas Carter Beane’s As Bees in Honey Drown (June 25-27), starring Tony Award winner Randy Graff as Alexa, and also featuring D.B. Bonds.

The Fats Waller revue Ain’t Misbehavin’ (July 9-21) will be next, followed by Legally Blonde (July 23-August 4), which will feature Bonds as Emmet, reprising the role he played in the musical’s national tour, and featuring Kelly Felthous as Elle and dogs trained by Bill Berloni.

The Cole Porter musical Kiss Me, Kate (August 6-18) will feature veteran Broadway couple Erin Dilly and Stephen Buntrock as the leads, with additional cast members including Andrea Chamberlain, Matt Loehr, Bob Walton, and Jim Walton.

The season will conclude with Nunsense (August 20-September 1), directed by the show’s creator Dan Goggins. Broadway veteran Mary Stout will star as Mother Superior.
