The Huntington Theatre Company has announced a revised lineup for its 2009-2010 season, which is comprised entirely of American plays.

The season will kick off with August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Fences (September 11-October 11), to be directed by Kenny Leon. That show will be followed by Maureen McGovern in her one-woman musical memoir A Long and Winding Road (October 9-November 15), co-conceived with her director Philip Himberg. Next up will be Paula Vogel’s A Civil War Christmas: An American Musical Celebration (November 13-December 13), to be music supervised, arranged, and orchestrated by Daryl Waters.

The season will continue with Arthur Miller’s classic drama All My Sons, directed by David Esbjornson (January 8-February 7); the New England premiere of Lydia R. Diamond’s Stick Fly (February 19-March 27), to be directed by Leon; and Huntington artistic director Peter DuBois’ productions of Gina Gionfriddo’s award-winning comedy, Becky Shaw (March 5-April 4) and Craig Lucas’ romantic comedy Prelude to a Kiss (May 14-June 13).
