Gary Beach, Joyce DeWitt, Linda Eder, Lorna Luft Set for North Shore Music Theatre Season

North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) has announced the musicals, celebrity concerts and children’s shows that will comprise its upcoming season.

Lorna Luft will star as Dolly Gallagher Levi opposite Gary Beach as Horace Vandergelder in Hello, Dolly! (June 12 – 24), directed by Charles Repole and choreographed by Michael Lichtefeld. Next, James Brennan will direct the family musical Annie (July 17 – 29), choreographed by Patti Colombo.

Television favorite Joyce DeWitt will play Mayor Matilda Hyde in All Shook Up (August 14 – 26), which features the unforgettable hits of Elvis Presley. Russell Garrett will direct, with choreography by Kiesha Lalama. George Dvorsky will play Mr. Hart in 9 to 5: The Musical (September 25 – October 7), based on the hit film and featuring a score by Dolly Parton.

The final entry in NSMT’s 2012 Musical Season will be Guys and Dolls (October 30 – November 11), directed by Mark Martino and choreographed by Michael Lichtefeld. In addition to the 5 show subscription series, NSMT will also present the holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol (December 7-23) starring David Coffee as Scrooge.

Concert events will include Loretta LaRoche (May 6), Chris Isaak (June 28), Aaron Neville (June 30), Steve Tyrell (July 1), Music of the Night: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber (July 7), Harvey Robbins’ Royalty of Doo-Wopp (August 4), Orleans (August 31), Linda Eder (September 15), the cast of Beatlemania (October 12), LeAnn Rimes (October 13), Harvey Robbins’ Royalty of Rock ‘N Roll (October 20), and Bill Cosby (March 10, 2013).

The 2012 Summer Fairy Tale Musical Series will include Cinderella (June 29), The Frog Prince (July 6), Sleeping Beauty (July 27), Goldilocks and the Three Bears (August 3), and The Three Pigs (August 24).
