New Repertory Theatre has announced casting for Eugene O’Neill’s Tony-Award winning Long Day’s Journey into Night. Performances will be held at the Charles Mosesian Theatre at Arsenal Center for the Arts, April 1-22.

This semi-autobiographical play intimately examines the addictions, regrets, and deceits of the tormented Tyrone family. Through the course of a heart-wrenching day, the members of the family confront one another as their blame, resentment, and animosity explodes.

Will Lyman and Karen MacDonald will star as James and Mary Cavan Tyrone. The cast will also include Melissa Baroni (Cathleen), Nicholas Dillenburg (Edmund) and Lewis D. Wheeler (Jamie).

The design team will include scenic designer Janie E. Howland, costume designer Charles Schoonmaker, lighting designer Karen Perlow, sound designer Dewey Dellay and properties designer James Wilkinson.
