Full cast and creative team have been announced for the Huntington Theatre Company’s world premiere production of David Grimm’s The Miracle at Naples, to play the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion, April 3-May 9. The production, which will open officially on April 15, will be directed by Peter DuBois.

The work centers on a commedia dell’arte troupe who arrive in a Neapolitan town, where the locals are awaiting the arrival of the annual miracle: the liquefication of the blood of the city’s patron saint. As time passes, passions ignite. Grimm’s other works include Measure for Pleasure and Kit Marlowe.

The cast features Alma Cuervo (Francescina), Lucy DeVito (La Piccola), Dick Latessa (Don Bertolino Fortunato), Alfredo Narciso (Giancarlo), Pedro Pascal (Tristano), Christina Pumariega (Flaminia), Gregory Wooddell (Matteo), Paul Cereghino, Sam Kikes, Rebecca Newman, and Jessica Uher.

The creative team includes Alexander Dodge (sets), Anita Yavich (costumes), Rui Rita (lighting), Ben Emerson (Sound), and Peter Golub (original music).
