New Repertory Theatre Announces 2009-2010 Season

New Repertory Theatre has announced the production schedule for their 2009-2010 season, which will present five plays on the Mainstage in the Charles Mosesian Theater; two plays in the Downstage @ New Rep series in the Black Box Theater; and two holiday offerings.

The mainstage season will feature Mister Roberts, September 13-October 4, a drama by Thomas Heggen and Joshua Logan with Kate Warner at the helm; David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow, set to play October 18-November 8; Chris Craddock’s farcical comedy, Indulgences, January 17-February 7, to be directed by Kate Warner; Michael Hollinger’s Opus, set to play March 28-April 18; and the David H. Bell-Rob Bowman musical, Hot Mikado, based on W.S. Gilbert-Arthur Sullivan operetta, The Mikado, to be directed by Kate Warner, May 2-23.

The Downstage @ New Rep shows will include 2.5 Minute Ride, a one-woman show written by Lisa Kron, October 3-25; and boom by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, February 20-March 14.

This years holiday offerings will include Rick Lombardo’s adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, set to play in the Charles Mosesian Theater, December 6-27; and The Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris and adapted by Joe Mantello, set to play in the Black Box Theater, December 16-January 3.
