John Porell to Replace Sam Weisman in Centastage’s Random Caruso

John Porell will replace the previously announced Sam Weisman in the Centastage production of Andrew Clarke’s new play, The Random Caruso, set to run at the Boston Center of Performing Arts Plaza Theatre, February 20-March 6. Joe Antoun will direct.

Weisman withdrew from the production to pursue a directorial opportunity in Los Angeles. The Random Caruso is a full-length version of Clarke’s ten-minute play Breakfast With Harvey, which focuses on Harvey, a preening film actor, and his assistant Tom, who manipulate each other sufficiently enough to ensure failure as Tom tries to keep their film project from falling apart.

Previously announced cast members also include Sean Garahan, Tracy Oliverio, Bob Pemberton, Steve Rossignol, Jon Ryan, and Michael Forden Walker.
