Barbara Cook, Linda Eder, Michael Feinstein, and More Set for Boston Pops 2009 Season

The Boston Pops has announced details for its 2009 season at Symphony Hall, which will kick off with Keith Lockhart celebrating his 15th season as conductor in a gala concert on May 6 and 7 featuring Tony Award winner Barbara Cook.

Theater-related highlights will also include Tony nominee Michael Cavanaugh singing the songs of Billy Joel (May 8-9), jazz guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli with cellist Maya Beiser (May 12-13), a centennial celebration of the Ballets Russes (May 19), film composer John Williams leading the orchestra in Film Night (May 26-30), Linda Eder in a tribute to Judy Garland (June 9-10), a celebration of the music of Richard Rodgers (June 16-18), and Michael Feinstein singing The Sinatra Project (June 19- 20).
