Best-selling author and NPR humorist David Sedaris will perform a 60-minute reading at Harvard University’s Sanders Theatre, Memorial Hall, on Saturday, May 7 at 8pm.

Sedaris will be reading selections from his new and unpublished works, and the reading will be followed by a question and answer session and book signing. The event is presented as part of the Celebrity Series of Boston series.

Sedaris’ books include Barrel Fever, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Naked, When You Are Engulfed in Flames, and his newest release, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modest Bestiary. He and his sister, Amy Sedaris, have collaborated under the name “The Talent Family” and have written half-a-dozen plays, including The Book of Liz, the Obie-winning One Woman Shoe, and Incident at Cobbler’s Knob. His original radio pieces can often be heard on This American Life, and he has been nominated for three Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word and Best Comedy Album.
