WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Berkshire Theatre Festival presents its Annual Gala performance featuring musical theatre's greatest living legend, Barbara Cook at Tanglewood's Ozawa Hall.
Barbara Cook, and her accompanist and arranger, Wally Harper, perform Barbara Cook's Broadway, a glittering tribute to New York's golden musical age, and a triumphant follow up to the smash one-woman retrospective of her own greatest hits, Mostly Sondheim. Cook's Ozawa performance will include, "When I Marry Mister Snow," (Carousel), 'Time Heals Everything," (Mack and Mabel), "This Nearly Was Mine," (South Pacific) and "I Wonder What The King is Doing Tonight," (Camelot).
In conjunction with the event, the Berkshire Theatre Festival will be raffling off a 2005 BMW 325CI or $40,000 cash. Raffle tickets are $50 and only 2,500 will be sold.
