WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz depicts Dorothy's classic journey over the rainbow. The show is performed by students from public schools across Berkshire County. She'll follow the yellow brick road with the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion and finally come to realize "there's no place like home." E. Gray Simons III directs.
Music and lyrics of the MGM Motion Picture score by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg; Background music by Herbert Stothart; Book adaptation by John Kane from the motion picture screenplay.
