With his illustrious career fading, jaded playwright Alan Perry, played by Richard Chamberlain, is desperate to extricate himself from his tumultuous notoriety. To that end, he welcomes three of his devoted fans to his brownstone where the sparks of jealousy, contempt and sexual confusion immediately ignite. The evening unravels with lightning speed as the characters thrust and parry at each other, dissecting the nature of fame. But who is stalking whom, and where will it all end?
