Featuring John Michael Higgins and directed by Mark Lamos, Big Bill explores the life and legend of tennis star William "Big Bill" Tilden. Bill Tilden was the father of the game of tennis as we know it today. A dashing and debonair man, Tilden captured the hearts of Americans through his unmatched talent, sportsmanship, and on court theatricality, becoming one of the first sports celebrities. Off the courts, he traveled in the most exclusive circles, counting Charlie Chaplin, Joseph Cotton, and other Hollywood nobility among his friends.
